Studio Equipment Overview:
Participants will learn about different types of studio lighting equipment and how to use them effectively.
Lighting Techniques:
Participants will learn various lighting techniques such as key light, fill light, and hair light to create dynamic studio portraits.
Mixed Lighting and Ratios:
Learn the ins and outs of mixing a varied of lighting equipment - from natural light and LED's, to strobe lighting and more.
Posing and Composition:
Participants will learn how to pose subjects and compose shots within a studio environment.
Hands-on Practice:
Participants will have the opportunity to practice studio photography with a professional model.
The Introduction to Studio Lighting and Photography Techniques workshop is taught by professional photographer Ed Sochacki. Each class is two hours in length with an option for an additional hour of shooting (additional fee applies) with a professional model. Class size is limited to a maximum of four photographers. Bookings are subject to availability and requires a 50% non-refundable deposit, once a date is confirmed. Please see package options below.
