Working with Models:
Participants will learn how to communicate and direct models effectively to achieve desired poses and expressions.
Lighting Setups for Fashion Photography:
Participants will learn about different lighting setups commonly used in fashion photography, including beauty lighting and dramatic lighting.
Styling and Concept Development:
Participants will learn how to develop a concept for a fashion shoot, including styling, hair, and makeup choices.
Posing and Composition:
Participants will learn how to pose subjects and compose shots within a studio environment.
Hands-on Practice:
Participants will have the opportunity to practice fashion photography with a professional model, incorporating the techniques learned during the workshop.
The Introduction to Fashion Photography workshop is taught by professional photographer Ed Sochacki. Each class is 2 hours in length and includes 30 minutes of hands-on shooting, with an option for an additional hour of photography (additional fee applies) with a professional model. Class size is limited to a maximum of four photographers.. Bookings are subject to availability and requires a 50% non-refundable deposit, once a date is confirmed. Please see package options below.
